A Rash Upset

Bacon-eating sizzling streaker

Slips into the docile church.

The vicar's voice drones like a distant, dawdling bee.

Comatose congregation

Basks contentedly

In the late summer sun

Shafting through the saints.

Suddenly he blazes down the aisle.

 A Rash Upset

 Instantly agog

The flock,

Now eyeballs out,

Mouths agape,

Total disbelief.

Then muttered tuts of disapproval,

The odd snigger,

Many shaking heads.

Beyond their pettiness

God alone is smiling.
